One word chaps... FEROCIOUS!

The only CD player I have is in the car so I wacked up the volume and after the lengthy intro, track 2 started and WOOMPH! What hit me first was the production and how powerful the sound was... the mastering having great volume but clarity. Thurlow is still a monster singer and I've always thought he had that Dio thing down but I could also hear one of my favourite singers Danny Bowes in there on some of the less intense moments..

Great to hear some excellent guitar from Little and O'Neill.  Not sure who does what, but Schenker influence and tone shines through and one of them has a more neo-classical style without wanting to sound like one of those players... They both definitely have their own style within that genre. Quality as they say.

The material itself reminds me of Jorn Lande or his prog metal band ARK. it's music of a certain time when the likes of 'Stargazer' and 'Heaven and Hell' and 'Rock Bottom' held the likes of the rock world  in thrall. It's not going to win any browny points for originality but neither does it plagiarise or lift from anywhere, it enthrals us because it's from an era us 50 year old rockers worshipped. Brilliant job!
